By 1981, completes nearly 100 ninety-minute episodes of prominent independent filmmakers in which they are interviewed about their work which is shown on the program. Participating filmmakers included Jean Rouch, Hilary Harris, Peter Hutton, Hollis Frampton, John Whitney, Standish Lawder, Yvonne Rainer, Alan Lomax, Robert Breer, Derek Lamb and many others.
